​After a major accident in 1990, I spent six months in hospital. I gained a unique insight into what patients go through, and it really brought home to me how many things needed to be improved in hospitals. Happily, I have been able to use this experience to drive some improvements in hospitals. 15 years afterwards, the Sydney Morning Herald published a story about my experience.
